Odyssian Technology is a high technology company focused on technology innovation and creative product development related to advanced lightweight composites, multifunctional structure, smart structure, and integrated systems. Established in 2002 in Mishawaka Indiana, Odyssian is involved in developing technology and products for both the military and consumer market places. Exciting work is underway in the development of: (1) hand launched aircraft with structurally integrated systems for surveillance, communications support, and aerial mapping; (2) advanced liquid/gas containment systems with integrated leak detection sensors for use in preventing the leakage of toxic and environmentally damaging chemicals; (3) thin film igniters for use in improving the reliability and reducing the cost of missile thermal batteries and airbag safety systems; (4) structurally integrated electrical power track outlet and distribution system known as eBoard™ that provides unprecedented power access and wiring flexibility; (5) lightweight composite skateboard decks having integrated lighting and electronics, and (6) various other products and technology involving the integration of electronic/electrical devices and systems into structure, housing, and devices.

Odyssian Technology is committed to the challenge of realizing growth and creating high skill jobs within Indiana. To create this opportunity, Odyssian Technology continues to pursue private and government funds to transition its technology into both military and consumer products. The versatility of the technologies that have been developed allow for quick and easy shifting between markets. While research and development will continue well into the future, strong emphasis is currently being given to the commercialization of technologies.
